Claire Charras has been living in Scotland since 2005 where she started her journalism course in Napier University. She started travelling at the age of seven following her parents to wherever her father had decided to work. She lived two and half years in Japan and two years in South Korea. Being in a privileged part of South-East Asia, she had the opportunity to travel to countries such as Burma, Indonesia or Vietnam. Being a little blond girl with blue eyes, she received a lot of attention from the inhabitants.
Claire is half-French, half-English and has grown-up in the French educational system as well as living in France when she was not abroad.
She has now been contaminated by the travelling virus and hopes to be able to combine her career as a journalist and her desire to travel.
